Autumn brings a rich and abundant bounty. At Venezia Boston, our chef, Gianni Caruso, pays close attention to what Mother Nature is providing and creates dishes highlighting the beautiful flavors, textures, and colors of the season. Here is a sneak peek at our new fall menu.
Our Harvest Pick Salad highlights a colorful assortment of lettuces with in-season pomegranate and pumpkin seeds. We top it off with luscious, juicy blood orange segments, blue cheese, and vincotto dressing, make this a glorious testament to the colors of fall.
Our lamb shank presents the warming scents and tastes of autumn as it's braised in a pomegranate star anise and cinnamon broth, and served with chestnut polenta and black trumpet mushrooms. You'll experience the true essence of autumn with this fall-off-the-bone perfection.
Even our lunch menu takes advantage of in-season ingredients. Check out our amazing Gnocchi in Bianco. These hand-rolled dumplings add homemade sausage, plus the sweet and savory flavors of spicy pecans and fragrant quince.
This time of year we also offer glorious golden squashes and pumpkins, served up in interesting and flavorful ways. Try our Risotto al Salto filled with butternut squash, or our pumpkin filled Tortelli di Zucca for a comforting autumn treat.
And then there's our amazing fall-themed desserts. Nothing says autumn better than our Marscapone Pumpkin Cheesecake with cinnamon, pumpkin spice and bourbon caramel glaze. Unless…maybe it's our luscious Cranberry Apple Upside Down cake. (Did someone say smoked maple whiskey ice cream?)
